Objective
To create a novel AR experience for the user, which would increase awareness among the public about traffic rules and how to make them curious to follow them.
We started off by brainstorming for problem areas that could benefit from the use of Augmented Reality. Few different areas were identified from which one was chosen to further ideate and work on.
Traffic is one of the biggest problems in urban areas. People are spending more time in traffic rather than on productive things. One of the main reasons for traffic is that people are not following traffic rules which are designed for the public's safety and traffic efficiency. Our idea focuses upon how we can increase awareness among the public about traffic rules and how to make them curious to follow
them.
Mind Map
To create a novel AR experience for the user, which would increase awareness among the public about traffic rules and how to make them curious to follow them.

From the initial research conducted, we decided to narrow down our field of study to a particular problem area.
The area we choose to work on was
To combat this issue and to we started off with competitive analysis of this sector to understand the existing solutions being used. Some of the major technologies being used currently are.
LACK OF DISCIPLINE
V2V (Vehicle to Vehicle communication)
Enables vehicles to transmit data over a wireless mesh network to send, receive, and retransmit signals.
V2I (Vehicle to Infrastructure communication)
Wireless exchange of data between vehicles and road infrastructure.
Adaptive traffic signals
To automotive traffic signaling, and more specifically to optical driven signals for vehicles proximate to road construction.
Real- Time monitoring
It uses sensors, cameras and other technology to collect data on traffic patterns and then relay it to drivers. This data can be used to inform drivers of potential delays, congestion, and accidents.

Through our brainstorming and research process, we decided upon the idea of trying to teach basic traffic and road rules through an interactive learning process. During this we came to know about the children's traffic park developed in Pune by the PMC for the purpose of inculcating traffic knowledge in children from an early age.

• The children's traffic park in Aundh, Pune, is a miniaturized version of a city street complete with clearly marked roads, traffic signs and lights.
• Built with the purpose of teaching basic traffic and safety rules to children, to further enhance the learning process, we decided to break the entire course down to smaller interactive parts.
• These smaller sections would contain activities, which can be viewed in AR through our app, that need to be solved by the users to progress and finish the course.
Mood Board

Here, we made two mood board one is to understand AR applications and other one is to understand the theme of Chhota Bheem because our entire course is based on the Chhota Bheem characters and their Friends and also kids can easily connect with this character.

An AR application made for the children's traffic park created in Aundh, Pune.

Instead of just 2D visual overlays, cars and other 3D objects are superimposed on top of the camera view to make them seem like
real-life objects.
AR Traffic Park

Users need to interact with the objects to complete tasks and finish the course.

The app helps users navigate through the park and learn about various aspects of the traffic system by engaging them in some tasks and activities related to the park.
